We are a disruptive force in healthcare. There is not another company that can claim the growth numbers our clients can and we do it by implementing high-level commercial strategies that are the opposite of everything currently being done in dental or specialty practices. Our practices track different stats, speak differently, train differently, advertise differently, think differently, motivate differently, communicate differently, have different job descriptions, present money differently, treat their patients differently and the list goes on and on.
90% of what happens within your practice is commercial and not clinical. Therefore, to grow your practice at its highest levels, you must act like a high-level CEO and Entrepreneur first and a doctor second. This is not meant to diminish the importance of your clinical abilities as I have great admiration for what it is you do. What it does mean is you must look at your practice as a business that has hundreds of commercial operations occurring daily with staff members carrying them out that usually have no commercial qualifications, expertise, etc. to do those jobs.
None of this is meant to criticize anyone or come across like we are smarter than everyone as we definitely are not. What happens is people just do what they know and many times believe it is right because they have done it that way for many years. Money is being presented by staff members that did not go to school to learn how to present financials. Hygienists are selling when they did not go to school to learn how to sell. Your receptionist is answering phones when they could not get a job as a receptionist in the commercial "world." You have a staff member handling social media that could not get hired for a social media position with any company outside of possibly another practice. Those are just a few examples of many.
The point is simply this. To maximize your success it is imperative high-level commercial strategies are implemented into your practice by commercial experts, high-level executives and successful entrepreneurs. Remember, consumers can choose you, someone else or nobody at all. Be an innovator and do everything at your practice differently than everyone else.
